Antillia Novel - Eric David Stanford - Hurricane post

Tropical storm appears in eastern Atlantic, potential to become hurricane

The US National Hurricane Centre reports a powerful low-pressure system has formed in the Cape Verde region of the Atlantic and is beginning to move westward along the latitudes of the deep tropics. If the storm were to reach hurricane intensity, it would become the first hurricane of the 1980 season. The Antillia Breeze’s own meteorologist, Hyacinth Mills, says it is uncertain at this time whether the storm will become a danger to Antillia or neighboring islands.
